Your marriage license and registration please?

Hey, I registered!

Lauren and I registered at Fortunoff (fortunoff.com) for lots of nice wedding stuff. Our China pattern, flatware, and crystal are all really nice.

Now go buy it for me.

We’ll be registering soon at one other place, but you don’t get to know where or when until I choose to divulge that information.

I was bored a few minutes ago so I typed oogieboogie into my web browser. And thing of it is, there is actually a site that exists called oogieboogie.com.

    That’s weird.

It’s a domain name that someone surely hopes to sell, but it’s a domain name that someone thought to buy in the first place… And that, my friends, is simply odd.

A cappella groups have a lot of inner stress and turmoil. Probably not the greatest ones. But most.

It’s nice to have a fiance you’re crazy about to come home to and relax with. And it’s nice to sit back and realize that, in the end, they are just a cappella groups, but man… The tension within most a cappella groups — at least, in my experience — is thicker than the heads of the people who form their own new groups because they didn’t get into the ones they auditioned for.

Of course, sometime’s there’s fun, and fun’s always fun. As are contractions.

My dad doesn’t get my previous post. He doesn’t like that I jump right in to talking about “the article.” I think it makes sense. So THERE.

Check yesterday’s post for the really exciting news!

The whole point of the article is how CBS will air its September 11th special (hosted by Robert Deniro), complete with the many obscenities uttered by firefighters, police, and average citizens. Which makes an article about something even as serious as the WTC attacks the tiniest bit amusing when it says:

The documentary contains numerous expletives, perhaps an unprecedented amount for network television. It starts at the first scene of an airplane flying into the building: Several firefighters gaze up in horror and say, “Holy (expletive).”

    Holy (expletive), Batman!

It’s been a while since I updated, so let me check and see if I have anything newsworthy to report.

    Hmm.

Oh, there’s this: I’m getting married! To Lauren, or as I like to call her, “The Greatest Thing That Ever Happened To Me,” which usually gets shortened to “The Greatest.” Want to be invited to the wedding?

    Okay.

I proposed at about 12:15am March 4th, with a song. No, you can’t hear it. Or read the lyrics. Yes, it was a good song. No, it was not orignally performed by Elvis Costello.
