February 26, 2003 on 11:20 pm | In News, UncategorizedThey took down the picture.
Describing it simply won’t work. It had to be seen.
–edit–
I just wrote a description, and it really doesn’t work. It had to be seen; I’m sorry. Abbi will back me up on this.

Why I Love Lauren
February 26, 2003 on 3:00 pm | In Lauren, News, TelevisionLex: Lauren my love, CNN has an article indicating that [one of your favorite actresses] Sarah Michelle Gellar is officially leaving [your favorite TV show] Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Lauren: I’m going to send her hate mail.
Don’t read this.
February 24, 2003 on 4:16 pm | In NewsDon’t read this article. Especially if you live in LA.
I mean, you should read it… but don’t.
Mike Tyson
February 23, 2003 on 5:27 pm | In News“I like doing other things,” Tyson said in a rambling post-fight press conference. “I like getting high, hanging out with my kids, I like drinking. I like doing other things.” [CNN SI]
Mike Tyson won his boxing match in less than a minute. At the end, he was crowned Officially Weirder Than Michael Jackson.
Attention Saturday Night Live
February 23, 2003 on 8:23 am | In TelevisionIf your biggest laughs come from a (hilarious) cameo by Steve Martin, a (mediocre) cameo by Will Farrell, and a (vomit-inducing) cameo by Britney Spears — then you’re doing something wrong.
Namely, not being funny.
Update sucks with Jimmy. Let Jimmy do some more songs with his guitar. Tina can go solo. Or maybe let Parnell do it — do something to make the show highlight actually be — you know — enjoyable. Let Parnell and Horatio Sanz have more screen time, and friggin’ Darrel Hammond for crying out loud — how underused can a man get?
Write surprising skits, instead of easy ones.
Call me, SNL. I can help.
It had me quaking in my boots.
February 22, 2003 on 11:28 pm | In Life Updates, News, UncategorizedYup, we felt it.
You wake up, and you don’t know why, and then you realize it’s because everything is moving.
But, since it’s 4am, you’re a bit too tired to do much of anything. Not that there’s so much to do in an earthquake anyway.
I mean, in the morning, I was thinking how funny it would be at 4am in an apartment building to throw open my door and scream QUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE! as loud as possible. Trust me… It’s a funny concept. Particularly if you can hear my scream it.
Plus, when I jump up, run to the door, and scream QUAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE at the top of my lungs — I’ll be in the doorway, that safest of all places.
