Okay.

On Friends tonight, Christina Applegate (Married With Children’s Kelly Bundy) played Jennifer Aniston’s younger sister. Applegate’s character (Amy) is supposed to be a complete and total moron.

At one point on tonight’s show, Amy compared herself to Erin Brockovitch. Now, since Amy’s supposed to be a Grade-A Moron. So we have to assume she never read about Erin’s pursuits in the newspaper; she heard of the famous movie.

Here’s the problem. The film Erin Brockovitch stars Julia Roberts. Earlier in the series Friends, though, Julia Roberts played a formal elementary schoolmate of Matthew Perry’s (with whom he ends up trading underwear). So who starred in Erin Brockovitch in the Friends reality? A star who looks exacty like Chandler’s female friend?

Like Daffy and Donald, this is a pair o’ ducks.
