Earlier this week, I took my trusty 2002 Honda Civic LX (whom I’ve nicknamed “2002 Honda Civic El Ecksy”) in for its 10,000 mile checkup. The results were good: 10,000 miles is still 1,609,344,000 centimeters.

The car was dropped off Monday night. Tuesday after work, I wanted to reclaim my wheels. Lauren cell-phoned on her way home from work and suggested I meet her at the car place.

Which I tentatively agreed to, before calling back moments later to point out that Charlie isn’t really big enough for me to ride him all the way to the car place.

It’s been an especially busy/hectic week at work, Adam Shain, which partially explains my infrequent blogging, about which you have emailed me a complaint. But you don’t have a blog, so I can become, say, a highly ranked Google result for Adam Shain Is A Monkey if I so desire, just by stressing the fact that indeed, Adam Shain Is A Monkey… While you, dear Adam Shain (who is a monkey) can do little but post a piddling comment on this blog. So there, Adam Shain, you monkey.
