Presidential Predictions

Three weeks before election day, it seems obvious to me that:

  • Barack will score at least 340 electoral votes.
  • John McCain’s concession speech will contain the phrase “my friends” — more than once.
  • McCain’s audience will boo Obama during the concession speech. McCain will half-heartedly stop them.
  • Sarah Palin will never again appear on a presidential ticket.
  • Barack’s audience will not boo his mention of McCain; it will applaud respectfully.
  • Obama will prove himself not to be a secret Muslim while in office.
  • The race will be called by the major networks before 1am Eastern, for the first time in three presidential elections.
  • Obama staffers will find keyboards with missing O’s when they enter the White House.
  • John McCain will continue to be both old and obnoxious.
